At the NFL Honors event on Thursday, February 6, Snoop Dogg didn’t hold back during his monologue, leaving Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of 72-year-old former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, absolutely stunned. The rapper, 53, took a playful jab at their significant age difference, and Hudson’s reaction was priceless.
While reflecting on his long-time love for football, Snoop humorously listed some of the changes he’s seen over the years. “Back when the Cowboys were good,” he quipped, “and back when the Chiefs were bad.” Then, with perfect comedic timing, he added, “And I remember, what was it—Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?”
The camera immediately cut to Hudson and Belichick in the audience. Hudson’s jaw dropped in shock, but she managed a nervous laugh as the crowd at New Orleans’ Saenger Theater erupted in gasps and laughter. Belichick, for his part, chuckled softly alongside her.
This isn’t the first time Belichick has faced jokes about his relationship. Earlier in May, during Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady, his former players Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady took their own shots at their ex-coach’s love life. Gronkowski teased, “Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked. But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.”
Brady followed up with a cheeky reference to their Super Bowl wins, saying, “Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say ‘the next one.’ But now that I’m retired, my favorite Ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago. Hey, you still got it. Respect, baby.”
It seems Belichick’s relationship continues to be a hot topic, both on and off the field!
